"Virtual tour? More like virtual chore"
I tried the virtual tour on Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation, and wow, what an experience… if your idea of fun is waiting for images to load like it’s 2003. Some areas were blurry, and trying to move around felt awkward and clunky, which really helped kill the mood.
I was hoping to get a decent look at the house details, but the whole thing kept interrupting itself just when I started to get interested. i expected a lot better, and I wouldn’t say it was worth the time.

"It just didn’t feel official to me"
I went onto the site expecting it to feel a bit more trustworthy, but quickly I started feeling unsure about what was official and what wasn’t. The whole thing just seemed a little off to me, and the layout didn’t feel very welcoming either. I clicked around for a bit, but i didn’t feel comfortable staying, so I ended up leaving fast.
"Hard to Plan and Left Me Losing Confidence"
I was frustrated trying to plan my visit. I just wanted basic info like accessibility details, parking, entrances, and what to expect when we got there, but everything felt scattered and harder to follow than it should be. A few pages loaded slowly, and the layout on my phone was messy, which made it even more annoying. For a place people are traveling to, those logistics should be clear up front. By the end, I still wasn’t sure about timing, where to enter, or whether it would actually work for someone with mobility needs. It definitely chipped away at my trust before I even got there.

"Felt Like I Had to Beg for a Reply"
I waited days for a response it started to feel like I was begging just to get basic customer service. That left me resentful because a simple reply shouldn’t be this hard. Not a great experience.

"Grounds felt neglected, and the terms were annoying"
I was expecting the outdoor areas to feel a lot more cared for. Some of the landscaping looked dry and kind of messy, which was disappointing for a place connected to Frank Lloyd Wright. It just didn’t really add anything to the visit. What also bothered me was that the terms seemed to change from what I thought I was agreeing to, which made the whole experience feel a bit more frustrating than it needed to be

"Good photos, just light on details"
The building photos are really nice, and I liked flipping through them. But for planning actual photo visits, some pages felt a bit thin, detail-wise. Helpful still, just not as much info as I was hoping maybe

"Some info felt off"
I was checking the site with my brother, and a few of the details just didn’t seem right to us. It made it hard to fully trust what we were reading

"Bad timing made the donation info even more confusing"
I was trying to make a donation while I was kind of rushed, so maybe the timing wasn’t great, but I couldn’t really tell where my money was actually going. It would’ve helped if that info was clearer upfront.

"Fine site, not-so-great service"
The site itself was okay, no real complaints there, but the staff came across cold when I asked a few basic questions. It felt like I was bothering them instead of being helped, which is never a great feeling. Maybe it was just an off day, who knows, but the attitude kind of ruined the whole experience for me...

"The membership perks didnt really impress me"
I expected a bit more from the membership. The benefits were small and didnt feel worth the extra money to me

"Still Waiting on a Confirmation"
I placed my order and never received any confirmation, which was frustrating. I’m not saying it was ignored, but it definitely felt like no one was keeping track of things on their end.
"Wish I’d Read Reviews First"
The site looks nice at first, but I had a frustrating time trying to find what I needed. I was looking for details about tours and tickets, and I kept clicking around only to end up on pages that didn’t really answer my questions. The menus felt confusing, and some things took way more clicks than they should have. It’s not the worst site ever, but I definitely wish I’d read some reviews first so I knew what to expect

"I didn’t realize what kinds of photos..."
I didn’t realize what kinds of photos were actually allowed until it was already too late. It was frustrating because this feels like a preventable issue if the rules had been explained more clearly upfront.
"Felt Overpriced Right Away"
I’m into Frank Lloyd Wright, so I figured I’d enjoy this more, but my snap judgment was that it didn’t feel worth the money. Some of the info was interesting, but a lot of it seemed basic, like stuff I could’ve probably found elsewhere for free. If you’re a huge fan, maybe you’d get more out of it, but as a more casual visitor, it felt overpriced to me. Not awful, just not a great value.

"I stopped by the gift shop expecting..."
I stopped by the gift shop expecting to browse for a while and maybe find a cool Frank Lloyd Wright souvenir to take home, but it ended up being limited. There were a few nice things, but it felt like the same types of items repeated, and not much that really stood out as unique. The site itself was easy enough to use, so no issues there, but I was just hoping the shop would have a bigger or more interesting selection.

"Felt Too Disorganized for Me"
I was really hoping to enjoy this tour, but it just felt badly organized from the start. There were moments where we were rushed through places I actually wanted to spend more time in, and then other times where we were just standing around waiting with no clear reason. By the end, I felt more frustrated than anything. For me, it wasn’t worth the hassle

"Took way longer than expected"
My mug showed up almost three weeks late, and the tracking info barely changed the whole time. The mug itself is nice, but the fulfillment seemed disorganized. I’m guessing maybe it got stuck in a warehouse or missed a shipping scan somewhere, though I don’t really know for sure...

"Interesting spot, but a little messy"
I had a cool visit overall, the place is definitely interesting, and there’s a lot to look at. That said, the bathrooms weren’t very clean, and a few areas felt kind of worn down. For the ticket price, I was expecting, a bit better upkeep

"Interiors felt less cared for than I expected"
I was disappointed with the interior furnishings on franklloydwright.org. Since it’s a site focused on such important design work, I expected the rooms and details to feel more carefully presented, but a lot of it came across as thin or a bit neglected.
I was hoping to get a better look at the chairs, lamps, fabrics, built-ins, and smaller design choices, because those details are a big part of what makes the spaces interesting. But the descriptions were vague, and some of the photos didn’t show enough, so it was hard to really understand what I was looking at.
Because the interior information felt so light, the whole experience ended up being a letdown for me. The architecture is so well known that I assumed the inside details would get the same level of care, but they just didn’t.

"Decent tour, but a bit uneven"
The tour was okay overall. There were some interesting stops and I did enjoy parts of it, but the guide seemed a little unsure at times, which made things feel less organized than I expected. Not a bad experience, just not the smoothest tour either...
